Housing Services
Our community is filled with residents from all walks of life, and it is not uncommon for there to be arguments or disagreements within our community. The Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County has a long history of providing voluntary mediation and conciliation services to resolve landlord-tenant and other housing related issues outside of the court system.
​Landlords, tenants, HOA's, roommates, and neighbors may use our services to resolve disputes and improve communication, or specifically to:
  • Address overdue rent
  • Discuss dues increases or imposition of special assessments
  • Successfully negotiate payment or repayment plans
  • Discuss deposits and move out timelines
  • Access legal resources and limited rental assistance
  • Address lease agreements
  • Develop agreements for shared housing/cohabitating
  • Resolve neighborhood issues, and more! 
Our staff, phone conciliators and professionally trained mediators are here to support all participants to work together to brainstorm ideas, evaluate options and reach agreements that address each party's needs.
