Leave a Lasting LegacyYou can help ensure that the DRC will continue to spread the seeds of peacemaking and serve our community for years to come.
Your will is a reflection of your core values - an opportunity to give back and to “pay it forward”. Please consider making a lasting investment in your community by including the Dispute Resolution Center in your estate planning. Through a bequest or other planned gift, you can leave a lasting legacy that will strengthen the DRC and ensure that it will be a resource for future generations.

There are several ways you can leave a lasting legacy for the DRC and your community:
1. Include the DRC, and other organizations you support, in your will - either a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate.
2. Name the DRC as a beneficiary of your pension plan or 401k.
3. Name the DRC as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
4. Encourage family and friends to include gifts to charities in their wills.
5. Ask your financial advisor or attorney to encourage legacy giving to their other clients.
There are also many tax and survivor benefits to different legacy giving options. If you have a Required Minimum Distribution from your pension or retirement plan, there are also tax advantages to directing this payment to a qualifying non-profit organization, like the DRC. Please consult with a financial or legal professional for more details.

DRC Legacy Circle members
A number of DRC volunteers and supporters have already become members of our Legacy Circle by including our organization in their estate plans. Bequests and other planned gifts are invested in the DRC Legacy Fund, with earnings used to sustain, strengthen and grow the DRC’s capacity to address growing and evolving community needs in the years to come.
